Follow my super clear step-by-step instructions to become a self reliant knife sharpener. This ebook helps you to get a knife shaving sharp in just a couple of hours if you have the right gear at home. The layout is simple and pedagocical without any overcomplicated theory to guarantee results.
I wrote this book based on what I learned from having taught physical courses in knife sharpening for several years where I learned exactly what people strugle with.
It is so faschinating to se total beginners go from terrifiedly handling the knife like a new born baby for the first time, with wet and soapy hands in the bath tub, to being able to shave their legs clean with an edge they created themselves in just a couple of hours!
Now you can do that too, anywhere in the world.
Note! This book will be finished on June 5th, so expect it in your inbox by then.
Best regards/ Mattis

Hand carved cooking spoon made from birch wood. Specifically designed to be as comfortable to use as possible with its right or left handed flat bowl. All the wood that is not necessary has been removed to make the spoon light and slim while still being rigid enough to scrape the bottom of the pan without breaking.
This design is a slightly modified version of a traditional Swedish cooking spoon originating from the county of Småland, hence the name. The front is squewed to be more comfortable for your dominant hand, while the original is symmetrical and works ambidextrously. The rounded sides are used to scrape food from the sides of the pan while cooking or serving. The flat front is used to scrape the bottom of the pan to prevent burnt food, and can also be used as a shovel to lift the food or serve it.
Birch is the most common wood to make spoons from. It is a very homogenous and tough hard wood that is strong in all directions and withstands the force of cracking when put in water. All spoons are also treated with a special food safe raw linseed oil that thoroughly hardens, meaning that it doesn't leatch into the food and won't require maintenance in the future.
This serving spoon is specifically designed to move solid food by using the broad front as a shovel. It's carved thin in the front to get under your food or cut through and portion out pieces of your gratin or lasagna etc. Though it should not be used for hacking loose burnt food as it may break.
Psst! This spoon looks great on your dinner table with some custom carvings of your choice. Feel free to send a message with your custom order and we can se what we can do!

This classic ladle is designed to move lots of liquid or runny food when serving. It has a large bowl that supports up to a whole portion of food in one swoop. Its hook on the backside allows you to hang it in the pot or store it as a decorative element from a shelf.

This spatula or “stekspade” made from oak is thin and slender but still strong. It is particularly suited for flipping food in the frying pan or serving solid foods from a baking tray etc. The front end is offset from the handle with an angle of about 15-20 degrees to work better as a flipper.
Oak is a strong wood that wont break or wear down easily, which is particularly good for a thin spatula that may encounter hard foods or burnt pieces in the frying pan. It is treated with raw linseed oil and wont need any maintenance for many years.
